老尤 本名尤淑悌，1933年3月生，浙江临海市人。毕业于复旦大学。学者、诗人、美术家，国家一级美术师。“中华文化遗产保护传承大师”、“新时代文艺领袖人物”。法兰西皇家美术学院“艺术学”博士、荷兰皇家艺术学院终身名誉博士。

离休后，潜心写意中国山水、花鸟画，兼及诗、书、篆刻。曾获“中国改革开放文艺终身成就奖”、“国际艺苑金圣奖”、达·芬奇国际艺术大奖赛金奖、“影响百年·中法艺术终身成就奖”、“法国“艺术及文学”骑士勋章、荷兰“奥兰治·拿骚司令勋章”等等。
